Ideal for families seeking comfort

Had a wonderful stay at Staybridge Suites! The room was clean and spacious, with a full kitchen that made meal prep a breeze. I loved the comfortable bed and enjoyed the balcony view, which was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit.

Parking was a bit tight.

Had a great time with friends! The location was perfect for exploring nearby restaurants and shopping. We also enjoyed a game at the Riverdogs and another day relaxing at the fitness center. The kitchenette was super handy for quick meals too.

The pet area was kind of dimly lit and off away from the building. It could be better lit and more accessible.

The air conditioning unit rattled loudly when set to high, which can be a deal-breaker for light sleepers. Housekeeping knocked on my door quite early but didn’t return to complete their tasks after I left, leading to some inconvenience when I needed extra washcloths and trash bags. The toilets could use some consideration as they struggled with flushing, falling short of expectations for modern efficiency.

It was a perfect match for a temporary stay in Charleston with great value-to-price ratio. The coffee in the great room was quite good and available 24/7. Bring your own coffee if you're a big fan. they'll only provide a small amount.

great space but some design quirks

The king room offered generous space, making it easy to unwind. The kitchenette had a full-sized fridge, which provided great convenience for our week-long stay.

The lack of a door for the washroom area created some disturbances at night.

Nice rooms, but needs better cleaning!

We stayed here for a wedding and while some rooms were great, ours had issues. The linens were dirty, and the place felt dusty. Breakfast was decent and there’s a nice picnic area for hanging out. The staff seemed overwhelmed, which was a bummer. Hope they can improve on cleanliness!

great park views and easy access to charleston attractions

We stayed here for 7 nights and loved how almost 2 km away we could stroll through the beautiful Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park while enjoying the view of the water, and it was also great being just a short walk from Trader Joe's for our snacks and groceries during our stay.

The location was really convenient for our trip to Charleston, allowing us to easily visit nearby attractions. We particularly enjoyed the fresh breakfast options available, which had a great variety to choose from. The room was spacious with a nice kitchen and comfortable bed. It's great to know they are pet-friendly without any restrictions which is a big plus for us as dog owners.

Still, I appreciated the friendly staff and their helpfulness, especially Emily, who really stood out. Their attention to recommending local spots was fantastic. I felt welcomed during my trip despite a few hiccups.
